Why am I thinking of you?

Over the past few weeks I have reconnected via Facebook with old High School friends. These are the friends I actually did things with, ate lunch with but over the years had lost touch with. It has been fun.
About 10 days ago I began wondering where an old girl friend of mine was. I haven't seen her since High School and actually kept wondering why I was thinking of her in particular. The girls I was really close with I have remained friends with over these years or reconnected with many years ago. I just thought it was all of the nostalgia from finding so many classmates after all of these years.

As the week went on many of us decided to get together before the actual reunion and now it sounds like so much fun. We have all reached a point in our lives where that comfort level seems to have returned. Every day I would try to search for this missing friend though, via Facebook, no luck.

2 Days ago a newly found friend posted on his page that we all had a classmate who had been affected by the earthquake in New Zealand. I asked him who it was and lo and behold it was the friend I had been thinking about so much. She is fine and so is her son who was right there when it happened. It seems she now lives in New Zealand! I wasn't that surprised that she would be there but was surprised that somehow I was picking up on her.

It is interesting to me whom I will pick up on but this one really surprised me. My family wasn't surprised but did agree it was a bit strange when I pointed out that I have had no communication with this girl in 35 years!
Life is funny.

Can't Stop Thinking About UFO's.

After I posted my last post about seeing the UFO on the 9/11 Anniversary I happened to watch a show that had some new info about people who see UFO's and the after effect on them.
Yesterday I was reading a magazine and there were some interesting comments from UFO observers who made similar comments.
In both instances they said that once someone has been touched by a UFO experience they seem to become extremely interested about the subject of UFO's. When they used the term "touched", they said it didn't necc. mean that someone had actually had contact with a UFO or beings but may have just witnessed a sighting.

It seems that when people see a real UFO their lives become almost obsessed with learning more about them.
I didn't like that statement, obsessed, possibly because since I saw a UFO recently near my house, over the water I have felt the same way.

About a year ago I was coming home and was driving on a section of road with bodies of water on each side.As I was driving I couldn't help but notice a very bright silver object in the sky to the left. I slowed down because in all of the years of driving on this road I had never seen anything like this.
It was Huge! and Silver/metallic. As I looked at it and tried to figure out what I was looking at it blinked, or flashed and then was gone and in its place was just blue sky. No clouds, nothing.
I almost drove off the road.
What had I seen?!
After having seen this the memory of the 9/11 Anniversary came flooding back, and the realization that what I saw that night was not a military jet over my house.
Since then I keep finding books and articles about UFO's.
I turn on the TV and there is a UFO show on that I just have to watch.
I'm feeling at times like I'm a nut, yet a new friend who has been helping me has told me that I'm not a nut and that this is common.
Now I have seen two things stating the same thing.

I don't know what to think. I believe that UFO's are real yet at the same time there is a part of me that still says "prove it!". I think that is because I really don't want to believe it, yet I don't know why I don't want to believe it because I know they are real.
Confused? You and me both!

UFO Over My House on 9/11 first Anniversary

This is something that has haunted me since it happened.

On the one year anniversary of 9/11 a lot was happening in the NYC area . My house is on the direct path that the planes took that awful morning.
For weeks following the attack the skies were quiet overhead and then the planes gradually  returned.
If you live where I do you are used to the planes and generally know what it sounds like and looks like when planes fly overhead. This includes helicopters and the Coast Guard and sometimes the Papparazzi (especially when Angelina Joli and Brad Patt moved in close by, those guys were literally hanging out of the copter!).

On the one year anniversary it was a very somber and quiet day. We had been warned that military jets would be flying close to the city, especially that night when they had the two beams of light illuminated from ground zero.

Again, I have seen a military jet and have seen it fly over the area.

That night, for some reason, I felt compelled to go outside and see if I could see any of the military jets.
I walked outside and looked up and saw a very large triangular shaped "jet" over my house. I remember being fascinated by the colored lights that were flashing against its black finish and the fact that it just hovered over my house and didn't make a sound. Wow, how neat. The next thing I remember was sitting in my family room with the rest of my family.

The next day I remember mentioning to someone that  I had seen a military jet over our house. That was how I said it. Looking back I'm sure people assumed I meant, flying over our house.

For years this memory kept playing in my head until recently. One day I asked my family if they remember any of this. Did they remember me going out, or telling them about it?
The answer I got back from all of them was "no". In fact my daughter's commented that I always share what I see and so I would have definitely told them to come outside and see this.

I mean this jet was hovering over my house for quite some time! I don't remember it flying off either and it was HUGE!  It was black with red and white lights flashing on the underneath. Its shape was triangular. As it hovered it slowly rotated, I remember thinking "I wonder if they are looking at me?"

Anyone else have a memory/experience like this?

Who is there?

I grew up in a lot of older houses and so became used to hearing noises and voices, especially because so many were haunted. The house I live in now though is a newer house, built in the early 1970's. We are only the second owners of our house. We have lived here relatively quietly for 13 years.
Recently though, we have been having visitors.
For the past several years I had been "seeing" things in my peripheral vision a few times a year, but did wonder if sometimes if  it was one of my cats, but recently things have been changing.
About a year ago I had just gotten out of the shower, I was rushing because I had a meeting to go to. My mind was on the subject of the meeting when I heard someone call out, rather loudly, "Hello!".
I stood still and grabbed my towel. My mind racing through what I like to call my rolodex of possibilities. Who could that be?
Again I heard "Hello" being called out and closer and recognized that it was a male voice.
Oh my gosh I thought, they are coming up the stairs?
Had I called someone to do some work and forgot?
I grabbed my robe and quickly wrapped it around me and slowly ventured out of my bathroom into my bedroom and to my bedroom door. The house was quiet, 2 of my cats were asleep on my bed.
I called out "Hello?, Who is there?"
Silence. The hair on the back of my wet neck stood up.
I ventured down the hallway to the stairs, "Hello?" I called out again and then listened. Nothing.
Feeling braver I slowly went downstairs and saw that my 3rd cat was sound asleep in her favorite box.
That told me a lot as she is very social and if someone had come in she would have greeted them and then meowed for me.
I made sure the doors were locked, looked out into our backyard and satisfied that I was alone went back
upstairs.
When I went into my bedroom I did not feel like I was alone. I spoke to whomever was there and asked them to identify themselves or at least call out again, but nothing else happened.
I have to admit that I was a little spooked.
I think it was quite possibly my Father in Law who had died recently. I welcomed him and then continued on with my day.
This was to be the first of these types of contact.

Easy Meditations

My daughter was recently telling me about a friend who has been under a lot of stress lately and having anxiety attacks. I suggested to her that she might want to recommend an easy meditation that they can do to help them relax a little.
So often when I mention this to people they tell me "Oh I don't have time to meditate." or "I don't know how to do that."
I have an easy and simple meditation that works and anyone, and I mean anyone can do. When I shared it with my daughter she agreed.
Find something that you like in your surroundings, preferably a plant, or a sleeping pet. I suggest the plant and pets because their energy is so wonderful and it benefits them too.
For this example I will use a plant:
Just stare at the plant, notice the shape of its leaves, notice how they shoot off of the main stem in so many different directions, to the right and left, some in front of others etc.
Now notice the color of these leaves, can you see any veins running through them? Can you feel the nutrients flowing through it?
With your eyes, trace the shape of any of the leaves or blossoms etc. Now as you continue staring at this plant does it begin to emit a yellowish glow? That is its natural aura.
Do you feel any energy being directed at you? Embrace it.
Are you getting any messages from the plant? Listen to them.
Send it love now, slowly trace an imaginary heart around the tree and fill it with loving thoughts and maybe the color pink.
Now relax, take some deep breaths and thank your plant for sharing itself with you.
Not only will this help you relax but you will begin to notice that your plants grow faster and stronger.
Don't believe me? Try it! Even as I write this I can breathe better.
I look forward to hearing about any experiences you have.

Orbs

Every once in awhile the subject of orbs seems to come up in sites that I check out.
After reading about such a thing at the site Synchronicity, I happened to watch a TV show
about orbs!
I have seen orbs that look like dust, are very bright and some that have faces in them. This
is just what I have seen.
In the show I watched they commented that more and more people are not only seeing bright
orbs but orange orbs. I have never seen colored orbs myself.
The thing is that now people are reporting a lot of feelings of fear when they see these.
That concerns me.
Also, people have commented that the orbs seem to follow them.
Could this be a new "race" of orbs or have they changed?
They also seem to be quite blatant with their contact.
The investigators on this show went to a sacred site in AZ and found pictures/drawings of
orbs in the petroglyphs!
The native American would call "Katchinas" the teachers from the sky.
I am curious to hear others opinions or experiences.

Washing machines

A funny thing happened today. I need to purchase a new washing machine. I have been trying to find information about front loaders vs. top loaders and have been frustrated. 2 nights ago I said "I wish I knew which was better?". The next morning on Facebook a friend posted that her washing machine was broken, this led to about 15 posts from friends about their own issues with their washing machines. Now I know I am going to go back to
a top loader!
Thank you my friends, crazy synchronicity!
